You just stumbled across one of my "secrets!" I always "cheat" on Saturdays. We go to the supermarket then and we always eat out that day. I know the number of calories goes much higher on Saturdays, but it seems to be working just fine, so I don't need to try to "fix" it.
On the other hand, like you said, "small portions" .. that's important. It doesn't mean I can eat a pound box of chocolates and a bag of chips just because it's Saturday!
