I've heard of people meeting others on Plenty of Fish in The Sea. Also I've seen sections at Craigslist that may be of interest to you, but obviously that particular site deals with all sorts of "encounters" in the various categories.

I have, too... but on the other side of the coin, I've heard some dreadful horror stories about it, too. I think caution has to be forefront in one's mind before starting on something like this.

And also don't believe everything someone online tells you... we can be whomever we want to be behind the screen.
