Default Bi-Polar vs Post-traumatic stress?

A long time ago now I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist as bi-polar. Getting along about ten years ago now, a psychologist agreed with the bipolar diagnosis, but also added PTSD. I was a bit taken aback on the PTSD, but as I've reflected on it I can see that it's valid. Now, a psychiatrist who checked me up told me she didn't agree with the bi-polar dx, but agreed with the PTSD. I'm just the slightest bit confused, and it's beginning to affect my mood. Anyone ever had this experience? I'm not sure what (if anything) I should do about it. The psychiatrist told me in a very understandable way why she thought as she thinks, I have no trouble with her; I just feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me.
