Curious if anyone on Effexor is finding they are back to crying and just sad

Just wondering if anyone out there on Effexor has found after a few years they seem to be back where they started from, I could close the curtains and curl up and read my book rather than go to work and be with my family, I am finding it harder and harder to have those great days, maybe I need to switch meds and my Dr. is about as helpful as a fart in a windstorm. Any thoughts would be great!

Yes, I am there now too. We must have the same doctor!
I read the oodles of pages for effexor's study trials and it looks like they don't have info on usage past 2 years or so... and developing bi-polar is a possibility. Nice. My doc, pharmacist, msp, and effexor all know I've been on it forever, yet I guess I'm supposed to create some care for myself and find out on my own. Ya, time to switch. Wellbutrin looks like a trade up. Scared for the head-shivers though. We'll see how it goes...
