Default Lipitor?

I just received a prescription for Lipitor, and I was wondering if anyone here has any anecdotes about it.

I'll be having bloodwork done in about a month, so I guess that would theoretically confirm that I was a good candidate to stay on it.

My husband is on Lipitor. It caused him some stomach and digestive problems to begin with. He was bothered for three weeks or so, but then it improved. His Doc told him that it could happen. He seems well tolerated to it now.

After a few weeks on Lipitor, I think I may have felt more tired for a while, but it's hard to say as my schedule was hectic around that time, too.

I still haven't had the follow-up doctor's appointment, but that will happen in a couple weeks.

Hello

I am new here. Xcuse my english. ;-)

I was taking 1 tablet/day (t/d) of Lipitor a while ago. It makes me feel nervous so I diminue to 1/2 t/d. My doctor told me it was not a side effect of Lipītor. A few weeks ago, the doctor ask me to return to 1 t/d. So I did. AQnd today I was woundeing why I was feeling so nervous since a couple of days. And I realized again that it was because of Lipitor. I am thinking of asking my doctor to change of brand.
But before I want to know if there are some other people who are feeling nervous, out of breath, sensitive, insomnia, etc. with Lipitor. Waiting for your response. Thanks. Jack.
