Lacking Motivation and Focus
I am suffering from a lack of motivation and focus to complete tasks ... even things that I enjoy doing, things that are good for me and things that I know I have enjoyed in the past. The more I read, the more I wonder if this increased decline in motivation is a result of lurking depression (which wouldn't surprise me, as depression does exist in my family).
Because I can't seem to get my act together, I'm constantly feeling under the gun, pressure to complete tasks on deadline, and I just never feel like I've got it together or like I *can* get it together. It's like it's just better to not even try because even the idea of getting started is completely overwhelming. Sometimes, this is for something as simple as getting my gear together to go to the gym.
If anyone has a suggestion, I'm all ears.
