Default Help wanting help

I've suffered from depression/anxiety for maybe 7 years. I seem like a happy person on the outside, and I know I'm capable of things, I just don't care about myself anymore. My self-harming tendencies are quickly getting more reckless, and I don't have time (on account of exams and things) to find, then see a professional. I also can't seem to care too much about my end of the year projects, or I care too much and cope by procrastinating and having anxiety attacks. I know that these things take time to learn how to deal with, but I guess I'm just asking if anyone knows any coping techniques for the short term.

Hi waterglass.

I think maybe this isn't the best forum to ask for help. There's nobody here.

I try to find something, even something small and trivial, to which I can look forward. A new book coming out or a video game or I don't know, sometimes I order a package of stuff, doesn't matter what, just so I can anticipate its arrival. sigh... I'm sorry I don't have anything better to offer. As you'll see from my "Finding psychiatrist in Calgary?" post (the one just below this) I'm having a difficult time as well.

Around campus (university, I assume?) in the washrooms there are sheets posted with support numbers you can call for help. Just... please don't try to suffer through this alone.
